Red and Black and Nicely Lit 750D!

HackManSD

Hi all, HackMan back again with a system I just got done with here in San Diego. He needed a Mac that was faster than his iMac for video editing but not as expensive as the nMac Pro. Also being able to play Titanfall on multiple screens was a plus too...

This is the breakdown:

Intel i7-4770K running at 4.6GHz(1.27)
Gigabyte Z87X-UD5 TH with Dual Thunderbolt Ports
32GBs of G.Skill Sniper DDR3-2400 Memory
2X Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD Drives(One for each, Windows/OS X)
2TB Seagate Storage Drive
Corsair H110 All-In-One Cooler Push/Pull
Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB Wind Force Graphics
Corsair AX760 Power Supply
Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower
Bitfenix Red Extensions for the Front Panel Connectors, 8 Pin EPS
Rosewill PCI-E Extensions in red and black
2X Logysis L.E.D. Strips(White)
5X Corsair AF140mm Fans in total

This system was a blast to build and looks awesome, especially with a good camera taking the pics...lol
Sorry about the crappy pictures during the build, I had to use my cell as my cam was stolen.

Nice build there, I love the 750D. I got mine because of the water cooling potential. My son would kill for all of that audio gear. He is a bit of a music producer, more or less. What are you using for audio out?

The rig looks awesome and lighting is some of the best I ever seen although it looks like the camera makes it look better than it actually is but anyway, I think with 10 mins you can make the cabling look a bit better, the single cable passing through the top grommet can be hidden underneath the 24pin cable, satas should be clustered together, it looks better as a single piece than 4 seperate cables, anyway for the rest use some imagination, I can't really understand whats going on in there :) just remember less is more!

I have a few things that I want to do to clean up the wiring even more. Just haven't had a chance to do it. The lighting is actually very good, it covers just enough of the internal to give that nice glow...

I'm using the Apollo Twin Duo Thunderbolt Interface right now. Really surprised how easy it was to get OS X up and running 100% on this board.

Going to ditch the extensions and sleeve everything....eventually.

Wow, nicely done - I just am replacing my Quad Core mac pro with a 4770k build in a Corsair 250D chassis. Funny, I live in El Cajon. We should have a coffee and talk shop. Reminds me I need to do a Rig page on my Hackintosh.

3/10 not enough speakers :p

Good start, but you could definitely get those cables tighter and some braided cables would clean it up nicely.

Did you post this on reddits /r/watercooling or /r/modding? I think I saw it on there.
I haven't but it will probably make its way there once I put the final touches on everything. Cable sleeving already on the way so should be good after.

Thanks to the great lacing tutorials on here, I may try my hand at that as well.

I do need more speakers though:D
