Well there's a lot. I support Obama because of his positions on abortion, the economy, and health care. He is a smart man that is what the American Dream is all about. McCain on the other hand is an old fool that through away his values in this campaign and recruited Sarah Palin to attempt to get the women vote. I don't think he counted on Palin being an incompetent fool and going "diva."
That word was used by a McCain senior adviser btw.
Obama is pro-choice afaik.
The economy... in what way ?
Smart ? In what way ? That he`s coached ?
McCain is an old fool ? Quite harsh and quite a broad sweeping remark of a person that ~really~ is based on looks ? Experience ?
Obama worries me as he`s a mascot. One that, even when the whole world thought "it was a good idea at the time", based on evidence provided and not opinion, voted against doing anything in Iraq. And will, according to himself, will start withdrawing troops from day1.
McCain, imo, is a blatent throw down to get Obama elected. Out of the 4 representitives, Obama/McCain/Palin/Biden, I wouldn`t elect ANY of them to run a council, yet alone what`s perceived to be the most powerful position on the planet. Palin may be an absolute cougar, but if it was Clinton/Biden or Clinton/Obama - we still wouldn`t know even who she was. How do u get that gig ? A heart attack away from being the president.
It is clear tho, the president elect will be who the media decides the public should vote for.

If McCain pops his clogs... Palin becomes President, that is reason enough imo to vote Obama, but he has policies which are actually inventive, might be what America needs to get through the economic hard times ahead.
Strange how some1 is even put up as a candidate and they`re fully expected to die within 4 years. Almost Reagan esque.
What are his economic policies ? Taxing those over $250k more, which changed to $175, to $150, and is now $125. Anything that satisfies the audience being spoken to.
None of them have any "solid" economic policies. Economics isn`t based on a pro-active hands on approach to managing finances, it`s more reaction to what happens within the market. In 2009 we have absolutely no idea what`s about to happen, and yet we think some1 with a few months of experience is going to be the champion over who ?
What is for sure is that there won`t be "tough choices" but very unpopular required choices - and who-ever is elected will propose them and be slated for what ever the house decides to pass. It`s 4 years of some1 b4 another irrational choice is made.
What worries me is Russia`s imminant grab for the old days of the soviet union. They want it, and the coming years will be about what we`re going to do about it.
