M MarkW7 New member Jul 13, 2009 #1 Is there a sort of 'hack' to reuse CD-R's. I have ubuntu 8.10 on a cd i burnt and want to replace it with 9.04 without using another disk. I also have some old files on a CD-R and i want to use the disk for gparted. Mark.

J JN New member Jul 13, 2009 #2 Short answer: Nope. Sometimes you can add to a CD if you havent closed the session, but as you more than likely wrote an ISO to the CD first time round it would have closed it for you I think.

M monkey7 New member Jul 13, 2009 #4 Bootable disks need to be finalised, can't write to them after so you'll have to take a new disk.
