re mach 2 GT temps

thanks every1 for the great info on my low bad temps.

sorted it now was bad contacts.

this ((mach 2 GT)) is the mutts nutts.

far better than my mach 2

GETTING TEMPS OF -69

and thats overclocking my 3.2 extreme edition at 4.288 mhz 1.85 volts stable.

going to try and get over 4.3ghz by pushing more volts in.

will keep u posted.

thanks again phill u was right after all. nice 1 .

and my motherboard monitor shows -24

i never got temps of -69C with my mach 2 GT

wtf?

is that with fans on full?

i get like -49C idle and -44C load....

cpu temps of -39C to -40C idle and -22 load @ 1.75V

sorry to give out the bad news but i get while overclocked

extreme edition 4.1 ghz 1.82 volts idle -69

when doing the beat the office benches it goes down to -54

put double washers on each of the springs that goes into the cooling head.

my temps r unbelievable. holds temps very good. hope this helps.

and my fans r on manuel turned up full both.

Nice temps on your evap, wot u get on ure CPU tho?

on my straight mach 2 with fans on full i get about -50-55 (room temp permiting) on idle and about -45-40 on load (that was at 3.9Ghz, 1.8V) but i dont like it on max fan speed its noisy, i settle for just less than half speed which is still -45-48 idle on evap and -35 on load :D

For non 30cappers 1.75V is supposed to be safe..never had probs with mine

for 30 cap cpus 1.85V is supposed to be ok...they love voltage

My evap temps are around -75 idle :p how this relates to the real world is anyones guess. Tongue = evap head = stuck.

My load temp on the Fx was around -10! These chips are toasty!

i have a abi-ic7max 3 moherboard

overclocked this shows in bios -10

3.2 overclocked o 4.2 1.825 volts is his right.

phil u wanna swap your gt with mine?

here is some good advice on good temps.

only use small amouns of seal string.

go to he edges and use only 1 piece of string.

on the head put extra washers on each thread, i put 2 on each.

tighten as much as u can.

here u go all the best.

i dunno why i always had worse evap temps than many mach 2s....

my cpu tempswere fine though

i am already using one washer extra...one layer of seal string etc:)

my cpu temps seem fine so it seems my sensors are more accurate :p or i get better contact thats why my evap temps are lower and my cpu temps are great :p

dunno just a thought...

for now on air till i get my rig sorted :(

About -46 deg C in real-world temps. The unit can never be colder than the refrigerants actual evaporating temperature.

Evap temps

According to nother post in excel, evap temps were

Heat load

0W 100W 180W

Vapochill LS -45.3°C -28°C -26°C

Mach II ST -51.0°C -35°C -26°C

Mach II GT -65°C -48°C -38°C

So the reported temps are inaccurate!
