So I'll need to spend more than $2100/€1900/£1500 for the total setup before it starts to make sense? And that's without the monitor, mouse and keyboard.. This box is way too pricey, but then again it was to be expected when it says Razer on the side

Same as i have said already over priced junk from Razer

Have you even tried their laptops? They're the one thing that they make that usually feel well built.

As I said last time, the price they're asking for the ultrabook on its own is very reasonable considering the hardware involved.

I'm not telling people not to buy the damn thing when it comes out.

It's my opinion dude i will never buy another Razer product again cause like i said it's over priced junk.

No i haven't cause i don't like laptops i own one hardly used it.

For the record its the same price or more with a slower config from Alienware (i5 not i7) and others. I've based the config on using a GTX980.

GPU dock based laptops are always insanely expensive.

I just Love the idea of the fact AMD is envolved, hope that this turns out positive for them ^^ + its compatible with other laptops that support this Tech so not razer exclusieve. Ofc it Comes with a pricé but i like it though ^^

I mean if I could, I'd definitely switch over to this. I'm a student so the idea of having both appeals to me. Also saves a ton of space.

I think this is where its market is. Maybe not all students as it's expensive but living in a shared dorm, or in one bedroom of a share house with all your things it makes sense to use a relatively good notebook. Now if that can still be capable of being a reasonably powerful gaming rig just by docking it then that's pretty awesome. Think how many notebooks have 1440 and 4k displays these days but are powered by either poor GPUs or are way too bulky and hot to cart all over Uni and back home again.

Saves having to have two PCs and then trying to cram it all into your car when you head home for the holidays. I think it looks pretty good too.

Exactly! That's why the only problem I have with it is the price. The dock should be no more than $150 at worst. It's a pretty small metal box with a weakish power supply. That's where the cost is mainly going. There's no way it's that expensive. I'd love to know there profit margin on this MSRP, probably ridiculously high. If it was cheaper it would be far more popular. As it is now, I could just buy a simple cheap notebook for that amount of money and have a powerful PC.That's the issue that will prevent this from getting big
