Ok so i randomly get bsod mostly when im gaming now i mean really random and i have no idea why. It eather turns to black screen and i cant do anything but am forced to manual reset or it will bsod.

When it resets from Bsod there is no error message and I cant find the error anywere as it auto resets, so im not sure what to look for?

My system is

AMD Phenom 1100T

Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3

16GB ripjaws X 1600

2 x sapphire 6970 2gb

Nothing is overclocked, But its been happening for a while and im not sure what it is. Is there anywere i can find bsod error notes?

What you need to do is uncheck the "Automatically restart" option via System Properties.

1. Click on Control Panel and choose the System option.

2. Next click on System Protection.

3. On the next window click on the Advanced tab and click on Settings under the Startup and Recovery

section near the bottom.

4. On the final window you will see an option that says "Automatically restart." Untick that and you should be good to go.

Next time you get a BSOD note down the error code so someone can help you

Download this free program BSOD_Viewer you also then dont have to worry about it restarting as it will read the dump file next time you log in.

I use it all the time at work (I am an IT manager), it should give you loads of info on the BSOD reason.

Post back the results if you want my opinion\help

Hope that helps?

Ill be sure to check it out. Altough it has not happened yet, as I said its completely at random sometimes wont happen for weeks then sometimes once a day so ye. But it hasent happened since ive taken appart and put back together my pc.

I was in the same boat. Just found out it was my GPU. Sometimes it wouldn't crash for a long time (after reassembling) and then other times it would crash every time I loaded a game.

My thread.

If you havent re-installed windows then there should still be a dump file for the BSOD viewer to read - worth downloading it and seeing if it finds anything. It's a standalone exe so you dont have to install it and it's a very small file anyways.
