Ram over clocking

if i brought cas7 1333mhz g skill 2x4gb would it be possible to overclock to 1600mhz

You can, but you have to change the voltage and possibly the timings in the BIOS. I think the voltage is 1.65 but i'm not sure about the timings.

thanks the volts 1.5v well thats what it says if its right got no probs changing volts i was hoping to keep timing tho was trying to get best of both worlds

I'm not to sure about RAM overclocking to be honest i'd wait to see what other people say first, also try asking in the Memory board someone there should be able to help you more than I can.
