yav but i've pretty much played all NFS and i need a new series

Do you want to play or race? If the later then I would recommend either GTR2 or rFactor.

I have been running an online league for the past 4 years http://www.wrracing.net. We are now using rFactor and it's excellent Caterham mod. Yesterday was the 1st race of a new season, we had 20 drivers from all over the world racing at Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

If you want to race, then your would need to buy a decent wheel, a game pad is just not up to it, the Logitech G25 is rated as the best mass produced product

For rfactor mod and tracks take a look at http://www.wrracing.net

For mainly pc based driving games http://www.rscnet.org

Download the rFactor demo at http://www.rFactor.net

The low powered cars in the rFactor demo, do not do the game justice, take a look on youtube and you will find several videos that have been made to demo the game

If customisation isnt a major factor (as far as looks go - you can performance upgrade) try flatout2. The graphics are pretty amazing and a great fun game to play with mates (especially destruction derby arena) and the fun games such as long jump.

Deffo my fav racing game

Flatout is okay.. But physics are very very bad.

But it can be good fun. :p

Try the Logitech Driving Force Pro. I have it and it's uber ownage. I got it for $150 when it came back but I believe it can be had in the 80-100 dollar range.
