The Dude didnt want it because the shaders are laser cut unlike the earlier 6950's that could be unlocked to a 6970....
The build quality is excellent, Brushed aluminium all over the place,,, heavy peice of kit too...
This thing loves voltage, temps never over 70 even at 1350mV
Memory seems to overclock like shit though even at +50mV (rumored to be rated @ 1600mhz)
Overclocks pretty good on the core, and 1000mhz stable in 3dmark 11...
