R507 and Mach compressors

I see that some of the Mach guys have an R507 charge. Is this pushing the compressor pretty hard? What kind of compressors do the Machs use? I posted on the Vapochill site bout R507 in a BD50 or BD35 and it was a no-go. I wasnt gonna disrespect the Asetek site and ask why R507 works in a rivals systems! Arent the compressors about the same size?

The prommys have larger compressors from what I have seen around. I'm not keyed up on the vapos tho, as I have never personally owned one.

I think you can charge the prommy with R507, without modding the cap but with just noisier fans. There was something about it performing on par with R404a, but without the need for as much modding to the system. I dunno where I learnt this stuff, so don't hold me too it!

Yeah the vapo compressors are a bit smaller than the machs. I think r507 does shorten the machs lifespan a bit.

Prommy compressors are larger than the 12V vapochills, but are about the same as the LS's compressor and very close to the XEII compressor. (from memory the LS's compressor is stronger than the prommy's as it is designed for r507 so can handle the increased pressure with no loss of life unlike the prommy but has a slightly smaller volume)

R507 does work the compressor harder than r404a, so you will need to run the fans at Turbo probably to keep the compressor cool enough, depends on your ambient though. The extra work and heat will obviously shorten the compressor's life, though how much is anyones guess really.
