Quiet air CPU Cooler for Pentium 3200 (800bus)

catch22

I need to quieten my Pentium 3200 (Asus P4P800 Motherboard)

Any suggestions on a reasonably priced CPU cooler/fan? - I am in the UK

i recommend an xp120, with your own choice of fan. you can then customise the fan to go with performance or quietness, and its a good cooler either way :)

Deffo xp120 if u want the quietest setup with the most cooling power.

Just remember the larger the fan the lower the rpm needs to be to achieve the same cfm of a smaller fan. xp120's are phenominal coolers.

Hook it up!

Thanks for the input. Is the XP-90C a later and better model than the XP120, its somewhat more expensive (overclockers)?

90c is copper and small (takes a 80mm or 92mm fan)

cos it has a smaller fan they tend to be louder, thats why i recommeneded the xp120 :D

Is there anything you would recommend that is not perhaps quite as silent but somewhat cheaper suitable for someone such as myself who lives off the sniff of an oily rag? A compromise price/performance/silence - but definately looking for that silence and peace!?
