Questionable advertising and then deletion of forum posts!?

Sry, MSI but that doesn't roll with me. Just posted my ctiticism on the MSI part of the forum and it got deleted. I thought it was a valid point but MSI or someone else doesn't seem to agree and deleted the post - no message accompaning that, eihter. I thought this site was about customer protection or am I wrong!?

Okay, here it goes again - cause why not, let's see what happens. And if that gets deleted as well, no matter, I can post that anywhere else - cause guess what - circumventig censorship isn't that hard.

MSI kinda mixed up their stuff on their website for the Z97M Gaming. Very deceptive but still kinda funny.

Just for future reference look at this picture of the mainboard.

Then scroll down to the site until the part about the Crossfire/SLI compatability comes up.

Citation from the original website:

Then please take a close look at that picture which is right next that text. As you as a hardware enthusiast might realize, plugging in Graphics cards don't work like that.

Also I'd very much like to know how their USB "Gaming Device port" is supposed to work. Cause if you apply logic than it doesn make much sense why "3x more gold than regular connectors" would lead to "More responsive"ness, "Smoother gameplay" and "Faster reactions" in games.
Well, that's it. Opinions? I mean others than "OH MY GOD - delete"

The graphics card could work like that, especially if you look at their own cards. Not every card is a triple slot. they also make their own 'cards. Then again it might be about the dual slot dual gpus, like the newer 7990, the 690 and the 295x2.
Every other company put claims like the usb gaming device thing. don't know why that bothers you :P. Its Business innit.
 
You'll probably get a message sent to your inbox soon about getting warned or something along those lines.

You have to remember though bud that a lot of these forums are sponsored, Advertising etc... and if you go pointing out facts that said company don't like then the forum admins are obligated to delete them to keep the site in good standing with said vendor, Sad and very pathetic I know but welcome to capitalism at it's worst.

the thing is that the bottom card is not in the 16x slot so it looks like there's more room between the cards

Maybe the MSI bit is only for rma stuff? idk I've criticized companies who have bits of the forum here and I've never had any issue.

And that's the sad thing about it, This type of behavior isn't far behind that of a police state, Can't have the whole truth coming out now can we.
 
You need to chill out. Its a bad photoshop and your post was removed (looking at logs) due to language concerning drug use. TBH mate you lucky you didnt get any more than it taken away.

If you still feel butt hurt, change your chair.

Only for certain people. I honestly laughed at the state of the photoshop and if people didnt see it then thats their n000b fault.

Just typical of artwork being done by an agency or someone that doesnt use these things. Its easy to see how it happens and IMHO should be laughed about. Its not worth a thread with the tone this guy took.

Come on its much more fun to point at MSI and laugh so they fix it!

If you're okay with that kind of stuff - good for you, suit yourself. I'm relieved it wasn't cencored for the critisism, at least - didn't think much of it since I only implied something but didn't make it explicit.
But anyway - I'll definately keep voicing my opinion, where I see fit - I got nothing to lose anymore, so I might as well.

Edit: Don't want to get into it but before somebody gets that wrong - I don't mean a competition or anything like that.
