Hey all,

I'm sorta in 2 minds i'm not sure if i should keep modding my Corsair 750D i'm not the greatest modder, I would like to see what you guys would do, I will say that it's not the most solid case it does move from side to side.

Should i buy another case or not.

My idea with the mod was to remove the ODD tray put a false bottom in under the PSU like what TTL has done my other ideas where to mod where the SSD are.

If i was going to buy another case what would you guys come up with.

there are a few rules

1. No ODD drive bays or something that is easy removable.
2. No HDD drive bays but they are really easy to remove too
3. Must be good build quality/solid.
4. Have good air flow.

Thanks all.

Define R5?... Corsair Vengeance C70?... No?...

Not really the C70, The Define R5 is on my list but Define S is in front of the R5 cause it just doesn't have any HDD at all cause i don't use 3.5 HDD anymore i just use SSD's in the system.

Thanks for that.

Ohhh, so now I see what you're after... sorry, didn't quite get your OP there :p

Well if you're going for that, what about Arc Midi then?, it uses SSD's on the back of the mobo, you can remove the HDD and Optical bay if you so wish and can put the SSDs on the bottom. Where the HDD cage were placed. As I have the Arc Mini R2 myself, which is a smaller version of that.

Other than that I'd go for the Define S, sexy, simple and loving the storage mounting options on it. Just brilliant! :)

Arc Midi is no good cause i already have one and plus my gaming system is ATX.

I'm thinking of moving out of my Corsair 500R and have a similar list - Look at the Enthoo Evolv ATX (about $250 AUD) Not sure exactly how it compares size wise to the 750D but I think it should be a deal smaller.
The others you have are on my list too. Define S is gorgeous and the H440 looks great in Black/Blue imho although with dual 980s the NZXT may get a little toastie for me.
Good luck

The Enthoo Evolv ATX is a bit out of my price range yes it's a very nice case but it does tick a lot of boxes for me but it's mainly the price, My set up is a Single GPU not SLi so heat should be an issue for me, Thanks for adding that one.

Define S or H440 seem to fit your rules/wants the best imo dude

Yeah i love both of these cases but i think with the Define S you have to put extra work in for the cable management with the H440 it's not as much as an issue cause of that PSU cover, I'm not saying you have to be lazy with cable management on the H440 but you can hide the cables more with the H440 tho.

It's still a tough choice tho

Between the two, I'd probably get the H440 despite me liking Fractal little more.

If i went with the H440 i couldn't go the Black/Red cause i don't like Red LED's so i would have to go with the Black/White cause of the White LED's.

Even tho my build is Black/Red maybe it could be a good combo with White/Black & Red.

Just one to add to the list - I haven't seen any reviews yet but looks like it ticks all your boxes - Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Mid Tower. $99.00AUD @PCCG
Has optical but it's removable. 2x Hard drives are hidden in the floor and looks to have good airflow.
Cheers

Thanks alot mate for adding another case to my list

It's a very nice case but there is one problem i have with it while it does have a removable ODD tray but there still has the cut out on the front of the case but i understand for the price tho why they have it there on the front, I kinda wish they would have thrown in another front panel without the cut out on the front.

I really don't need the HDD cage cause i only use SSD's.

Fractal Define S gets my vote, Ticks all your criteria and is very clean looking :)

Yeah i still really can't make up my mind, It's still a really tough choice

Pick the cheapest one:)

Yeah i can do that or maybe i just need to think about it some more :)

I had a look at the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M & watch a unbox of the case i think now that this case it off the list cause to me the side covers are very flimsy so it's back to H440 or the Define S there is one thing i want to find out for both cases it's to do with the front I/O.

For the front I/O on both case do they have break out cables when i was looking at some pictures of the Silverstone Raven case that did have break out cables.
