I am thinking of buying a gpu,i am between the Gigabyte R9 280x Rev 2.0 with the BF4 (290E) and the Palit Jetstream 770 GTX 2 GB (310E). Been a NVidia fan boy,but now more intrested in value purchase... Btw i will be rendering with 3D programs,so thats why i am considering the GTX. The question now, is Palit reliable? Which one would you choose?

Any card can/could fail, there's no reason why it should be more prone than others just because it's cheaper. Some cards can have "special, fancy caps" etc but unless you're overclocking a lot and then of course there's the silicon lottery to think about, then I wouldn't worry too much.

TTL reviewed the 780 Ti version here's what he thought about the cooler:
We're not overly sold on the cooler. The triple fan design certainly keeps it cool and allows us to make the performance gains at stock that we saw. But the two little fans and one big one surrounded by a strange bronze effect in what is otherwise a sea of cheap-feeling black plastic is hardly something that reeks of quality, especially at the huge price that top-end GPUs are currently selling for. We know that complaining about the aesthetics of your GPU cooler is akin to bemoaning the cup-holders on your Porsche, but we want people to look at our system and get an instant grasp on how much it must have cost to put together. The Palit doesn't give that air of 'wow'. Another point is that Palit claim it is 7db quiter than the reference cooler, out of the box plumbed in and left we would go as far as to say it might be AS quieter but its never quieter, it is well worth pointing out it IS cooler though so maybe if you backed off the fans a bit they may still be able to make that claim.

A 770 would run cooler though of course so keep that in mind.

Unfortunately i am already streching my budget as more as possible. I got my i5 4670K, waiting for the Trust GXT 31,the Corsair CX750M and the HDD until Friday. The Sharkoon skiller and G.Skill Ripjaws 2400MHz 8 gb ram,Sharkoon REX8 Black from monday. As everything is obvious now,i will be recieving my GA-Z87X HD3 and Gigabyte REV 2.0 R9 280x with battlefield 4 next Friday (best case scenario)! I already have an SSD,5.1 speakers and a nice monitor, but may upgrade monitor in some months as well. Will definetely get a Good cooler (air or water,i dont yet know) and a better HDD or SSD later on!

Personally I'd stay away from Gigabyte cards for Nvidia. The AMD ones are ok but Asus,HIS and Sapphire (arguably the best at the mo') are the best AMD 'card makes.

Saving up that little more for a 290 over a 280x or 770 is quite a big upgrade. You would notice a performance increase.

What software are you using for rendering?

Why do you say that? Is there a reason? I have heard Gigabyte is a good brand idd...
Gigabyte is a good motherboard brand but their GPU are quite cheaply made. As I said, for AMD they're not the worst (that award goes to XFX) but they are near the bottom. For Nvidia there seems to be a whole host of issues and people complaining about them. I'd stay away personally.

3ds max, lumion, maya and maybe video editing, very light though... But should i go for an aftermarket cooler,so wait? how much will it take? do we have any clues? after all,it is about 70 euros the difference, maybe more...which brand would you suggest?
