Quake4 and F.E.A.R. Released!

Well...they`re out! (F.E.A.R. was out on...Tuesday? but I thought they were simultaneous releases)

Anyone played them yet? Was gonna go pick one of them up today, but forgot! DOH!

There is a mini review of Quake 4 on hexus, says that it is very much like Doom3, but better gameplay (no more people randomly appearing out of walls), better use of the engine and you can put a torch onto the end of your gun (amazing future technology lol)

Didnt know that F.E.A.R. has been released though, only saw an anandtech review of graphics card using it as a test but didnt think it was finished.

Have you guys seens the vids of the cut scenes done by the actors with the interview of the girl? That's some pretty scary stuff, looks awesome

Hi, Playing FEAR at the moment and its one of the best games av played.

The enemy soldiers AI is pretty good, and the graphics WOW!

Just dont let any young kids play it as its full of Swearing and gore, hence the 18.

Q4 is top MP fun though, dunno about the SP, aint even tried it

i'm finding fear mundane at best, the whole freakiness is just too cliched way too overhyped. but quake 4 is brilliant having alot of fun with it, especially since i got my new magic legs.

i just finished quake 4, well at least the ending wasnt as bad as doom3 tho, its alot easier tho. all you need are 6 shots.

i really love this game it does from time to time get a bit hairy.

specialy when using the sennheiser headphones turned up loud.

im about half way so far, dont want it to end.

Just started Quake4, so far so good, really in to this now.
