Ok, for those amongst us with huge wads of cash to splurge on the latest in gaming rigs, then this machine is for you. Unveiled exclusively at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2006 was the first available Quad SLI gaming rig - the Dell XPS 600 Renegade. Sporting the latest Intel Pentium 955 Extreme Edition processor that has been overclocked from 3.46GHz to 4.26GHz, 2GB DDR2 memory at 667MHz, and of course two dual 1GB GeForce 7800 video cards.
Power supply for the beast is provided via an 650W PSU, and the video cards require an additional 300W provided by 2 x 12V adaptors...950W
The system is available now from Dell for between US$7,000 - $8,000, and comes personally signed by Mike Lavellee (Killer Paint) and Michael Dell (The founder of Dell). Also don't count on the graphics cards being made available as retail, they are Dell exclusive.
Perhaps in the future an AMD version may be made available
