Alright, here's what I have so far...

DFI LP UT-nF4 Ultra-D S939 ATX, 2PCIx/gL/S/1394/SATA RAID

A64 X2 3800+

Sapphire X800 GTO-2

Samsung SP2004C 200G SATA / 7200rpm

BenQ FP91G+BL Black 19" LCD

Now, all I have left is the RAM...

Now, from previous posts, I've been told Ocz is up there when it comes to RAM. Now, considering that cost DOES matter, how do these look?

OCZ Premier Dual Channel 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory (2 x 512MB)

(keep in mind CDN dollars)

If theres something better, or more cost effective, please, feel free to enlighten me (preferably through tigerdirect.ca)

Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to the original lineup, feel free to criticize as well ^^

That stuff is ok

What you wants is some of this stuff - OCZ Gold VX PC 3200 or OCZ Platinum Rev 2 PC3200

Crucial Ballistix is also very decent stuff :)

Did you think about 2gb - The Gskill light blue 2 x PC3200 kits are VERY good prices, as are the PQI PC3200 :)

alright, so say we go with...

DFI LP UT-nF4 Ultra-D S939 ATX, 2PCIx/gL/S/1394/SATA RAID

A64 X2 3800+

Sapphire X800 GTO-2

Samsung SP2004C 200G SATA / 7200rpm

Samsung 740N Black 17" 600:1/8ms LCD

OCZ EL Platinum REV.2 (TCCD) PC3200 1GB 2X512MB

how's this looking overall?

Thats a pretty damn tight little system mate - should be well away with that and plenty of room for both overclocking and upgrading should you wish :)
