Pumps in series

Does this give any better cooling for two block and two rads? and do the two pumps need to be matched or anything?

I have 2 blocks & 3 rads, i have 2 Laing D5 in series. when i switch 1 of temps do slightly increase (3-5c) onload due to the difference in head pressure the 2 pumps give you over the one. the more head pressure the better as a complex loop will be very restrictive. bare in mind i can get the same "performance" of 1 D5 at level 5 at level 3 on 2 D5's so it reduced pump noise in effect.

I run both mine at level 4, and you can see the water literally rushing through my loop.

its also good if 1 of the pumps fails in your system as you would have a backup

I prefer parallel/dual loop because you effectively double the flow rate.
