Pump for CPU only loop

Hey guys, putting my loop together next week after my rad arrives (hopefully)

I have 2 pump/res options, both of which I own

Have a DDC ultra with XSPC restop, and a XSPC single bay res with pump. The Rad will be mounted in the ROOF.

The loop will only be for the CPU, case is a fractal design arc mini with the top hard drive bay removed. This is where Ill probably mount the DDC ultra if i use it. Dont use the optical bays at the moment so there both free, but theres a blu ray drive incoming in the near future.

Personally thinking of just using the bayres/pump for it will isolate the loop to the top of the case.

Opinions from any more experienced Watercoolers?

Ive seen a lot of people use bay/res pumps for the cpu only loops but in my opinion i wouldn't use them for a dual gpu and cpu configuration so as long as you only plan on using the cpu loop then sure a dual bay res or maybe single bay res and pump would be able to power that loop.

Its only got a 30mm double rad and a cpu block, i'm fairly sure it should be grand. Only advantage of the bigger pump would be I could use proper quick disconnects.

A really good reliable rad/pump is the XSPC X20 750 Dual 5.25" bay reservoir pump. It is very reliable and offers good performance for the price. As well as its very quiet. Also it comes with places to put led's if thats your thing. Hope this Helps.
