PUBG Corp admits that they have "fallen short" with PUBG's performance

I've never had a performance issue. Here and there once in a blue moon I get random fps drops but it never last that long. Low powered machines probably have a worse time.

Not just low powered RIGs I've had issues over the last few months with random frame tanks and not just the odd few seconds either we're talking whole sessions. I'm not the only one to report this as a few of our Discord team get it too. The game was ace for a while no lags the ping was great the server hit reg was good then the influx of cheaters happened what with PB farming, then that got solved "apparently" and now we're back to square one.

I have practically given up with this game, although I still play it once in a while with a friend.

Performance wise I always run the game at 1920x1080 with the setting's set to "Very Low" except AA and View Distance which are maxed out, and on the 980Ti I would be running at anything from 80fps to 144fps, and my pc would be getting hammered to do that, 100% usage on the GPU and around 50% usage on the CPU.

Now with the 1080Ti the same setting's the game runs mostly at 100fps to 144fps with consistent drop's down to the high 40's, and the usage on the GPU and CPU are both at around 50% usage.

The game still felt somewhat smooth but the issue's for me was simply the networking and cheating.

The amount of times I would be shooting at someone only for them to take no damage and kill me, when my friend shoot's them with a single bullet and they die since according there client the player had practically no health.

Then there are the macro users and people who are just simply using wallhacks and aimbots etc.

If they actually manage to get the performance and cheating sorted then it will be a good game but until then I am practically done with it, other than a game or two a month to check on how it is.

Blame Dell for the cheaters. Seems in China they advertise that their Dell Laptops are capable of running more Cheat DLLs than any other machine ;)

PUBG was never a big hit for me given the ease at which it was to cheat.

Game performance is awful. https://imgur.com/a/kGFFI that's my build SLI 1080 Ti's I97980XE OC'd 64GB of ram dual raid 0 Sata 6 SSD's and a SSD NVME Boot drive and I can't get a consistent 60 FPS High/Ultra at 2560x1440 with a G-Sync monitor. The fact that BlueHole had to make a whole sub division called PUBG Corp is hilarious the only other games they do are Tera and Devilian Korea MMO's that pretty much require you to use there in game store at some point to make sufficient story progress. Just wait until PUBG adds in cosmetic items that let you have more ammo run faster etc behind there lewt boxes, Oh guess already do that. PUBG is an Executable "interactive" Meme.

Don't really care what your specs are. That doesn't make my situation irrelevant. All I'm saying is me and my friends don't really have issues and our hardware is considerably less than yours

Roll the game back to 3 updates ago and performance issues would be fixed, what won't be fixed are the hackers BP farming and cheating the hell out of what could be the greatest game ever. We played 4 rounds this evening and back to back modders ruining the game it's so toxic now that there is little point even trying. Here's a clip from this evening and this is happening more and more, I was getting shot but no idea where from.. now I know! together with this douches clever use of snap aim locking how can he miss.

We don't mind when we've been bested by good players and even lucky newbs but cheating is just sucking the life out of it.

I've honestly never had cheating happen against me and only seen it once in person. And I play when most of the Chinese players are on as well.

Once they region lock the players it should help a lot I think.

My only gripes about the game are how random the spawns can be for items. I just feel like half the time I play I get screwed over. Just feels like it forces you to drop in popular areas
