Hey guys! First post here, and its a PSU question! I more or less suspect everything will be fine but here goes the specs;
FX-8350
R9-290x (Power Colour AXR9 PPDHE)
ASUS Sabertooth 990fx
8 GB G-Skill RAM DDR3 1333
1 TB Seagate HDD
750gb HDD
XSPC Raystorm RX240 V3 Extreme Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit (New Rev. 4 Pump Included)
OS: Windows 7
Some spiny thingies to move air.
Now my question is this, I currently have a Corsair 650w TX from my previous build, I am certain of this power supplies ability to feed the R9 290x and the FX-8350, but I am going to put the water pump into the build and would just like to get peoples opinion on this and some first hand accounts if you have them!
I am considering just bouncing into a 750w RM or even HX (I think HX doesn't have that zero spin thing, right? I heard they get VERY loud when they do spin) for both modularity and that I am not alltogether certain how hefty this water pump will be! Its a six fan radiator design, so I am thinking this pump is gonna put out quite a bit of extra power that might bring me to 70 or 80% with 650 watts, which is a spot I don't exactly want to be!
Possibly adding in an SSD down the line, and more memory for sure. Thanks mates!
