PS3 press conference

schweeeeeeeeeet!!:yumyum: they listened and changed to controller back to the original design:D and the games look siick, the controls motion sensors are a work of genius:worship:

360 has big competition now:p

But Bit-Tech say that the PS3 isn't very impressive Here

Virtua Tennis 3: Awesome. We're big fans of Sega's arcade racquet-em-up, and this looks like being the best version of it yet. Again, there is nothing new here apart from some shiny graphics. Unfortunately for Sony, Sega were showing off the game on the Xbox 360 on its own stand, and it actually looked better than the PS3 version.

When it comes to the battle of South Hall (which is Sony, Nintendo)there's one clear winner here - Nintendo.

Definately looks like a nice system... Glad they changed the controller back to normal, but with a slight twist :)

Unless they release something on this that is MUCH better (doubt it) then the Xbox 360 looks to be far better vfm. Coupled with the fact that the Xbox are on the 2nd gen of games already - you're looking at a better investment in the 360. I'll reserve judgement until release but thats my thoughts so far :)

Not in the price part it doesn't

I was expecting this sorta price anyway! Definately think it'll be worth it, now about gettin one of these damned expensive HDTVs......

Anyways Kemp, I thought £££ wasn't a problem for you, it's not much more than the price of one of your gfx cards aint it? :eh:

That guy on Bit-Tech is just slaying the PS3 for no reason, I bet he's an x-box lover :arsey::boink:, I believe this bit proves it:

We also got to go hands on with the new controller which, frankly, feels just like the old one.

Whats wrong with this guy? This is what the Playstation owners want, the current PS2 controller fits perfectly in your hand and is simply comfortable. There is no need for change, only improvements i.e wireless and montion sensors :D

Formula 1: This was probably the best looking game on the PS3 booth, but once more offered nothing new in terms of gameplay - just some really, really nice looking F1 cars.

No innovative ways? I'm sorry but there aren't many ways to change the way a racing game works. You drive a car around the course having the feel of the car and being as close to the real thing. Same goes for what he said about the GT series, it's a racing game, nice looking cars (of which I'm sure there will be even more of a choice thanks to the bigger disks :) ), realistic handling and many customisable parts.

I'm sure PS3 have some things waitin up their sleeve, as time goes by more games will make good use of the controller and also the Blue Ray disks. Imagine GTA on PS3, massive maps, awesome gfx with a well done online function :yumyum:

Nope I'm afraid you Sony fanboi's will have to sit down, think about your life and realise that the PS3 aint gonna be as good as Daddy said

Hit the nail on the head there me thinks ;)

Nope not sorry at all/ My 360 is awesome but I actually far preferred my PS2 to the Xbox 1. Sony just haven't made sense with the PS3. You fanboys go out and buy your overpriced consoles. I'll stick with my resonably priced one, get a Wii and have about 6x the fun.

the ps3 will have some serious hardware so it will cost more to manufacture...

plus all the backward compatability.

fanboys we are not, sensible is what we are:p

thats because they had realease games and the console is not out yet.

release games are usually not the best etc
