Is there a simple lead from ps2 to monitor, vga type ?

From memory I believe it only outputs rbg (yuv) types and sound from that port on the rear.

So if some1 was desperate they`d need a sorta scan-doubler box and try and get in that way.

I have never heard of seen of one.

I just brought a good TV tuner.

The PS2 would look a little small plugged into a monitor.. seeing as it uses TV AV res.

I've seen VGA boxes around, my bro bought one to try to use freeview on his TFT but because of the resolution isn't the native TFT res it doesn't look that good

vga boxes are the best, there can be a little delay when using capture cards.

I found that there was a delay on my card. but that was sorted. It happened to be WINTV is SLOW!

If you get a capture card guse Dscaler! Awesome decoder that!

Fixed all delay problems and I can get one sweet picture using it!

Ya, if it was me I`d probably run it through a pc then a monitor, got all kinds of options for that.

Thinking back to meh ps1, I had a scan doubler for that and it worked well, thing is it used moulded connectors to plug into it, along with something that went into a mem card slot - power possibly.

Think the dood`ll have to think again.

There was a special VGA cable that came with the Linux kit. I think it will be hard to track down now though.
