Most of us already know how great scan is. I remember a time a few years ago when they were potentially one of the worst e-tailors on the web, but they have turned it around in a MASSIVE way.

Just today i ordered a case from them, and would you believe it, they sent me a text message with my tracking number on it!

Thats service :)

They took damn good care of me when they double charged my credit card the time I ordered our server case.

I never realised that scan were bad. I've only known about them for a few months though! But yeah, I've made 1 order and that arrived quickly. I also messed up a bios flash and I called them up and once I got through to a tech guy he was quick at diagnosing and sorting out the RMA. I sent the mobo on a Tuesday and came back on Friday! :)

With ebuyer it usually does take a week. But it must be said Scan are simply quick! Free fast delivery is sweet :D

Wise and true words my friend, however 100 miles is a long way if you live in Norfolk and have to leave via the only road outta here.

Well I don't know scan.co.uk, but isn't it what you can expect from an online shop?

I have indeed ordered some stuffs at performance-pcs.com and they sent me an email with tracking number too. And I get email notification for any change in my order status.

Order was made on 21st, sent on the 22nd and finally arrived and held at the japanese custom today... Excellent service as well, I believe ;)

Anyway I am going to visit scan.co.uk :)

Your right they were terrible, but cheep you took your chance. I bought a faulty Creative Labs Soundblaster 64 AWE ISA card (that says how long ago). From them they didn’t want to know. Ended up I sent a email Creative and got it swapped straight away.

Now I’m in the same boat with my Asus Commando mother board. I did a bad bios flash and killed it. I took it back to the shop (NOT SCAN) they had it just over a month when they phoned me up to ask me to collect it as its ”a customer fault” and nothing they can do. I email Asus who sent me an RMA number and now it’s been with them a week so far. WHICH I KNEW SCAN HAD GOT THERE ACT TOGETHER. I will definitely trying scan out now on my next big purchase.

And to top it all a commando is up for sale in the trading section of this forum... I’m so tempted it’s nearly 6 weeks since I have used my main rig.... :yumyum:

This is a seriously bad out of date thread revival, although the final comment may be true, I think it needs closing, but then again some may want to discuss?
