Project: Redbull

Ok first off 2 reasons for the project name, one I love Redbull (too much...) and because I've decided on a red and black theme using the Bulldozer CPU family.

My first build thread (quite a few years ago now) can be seen here and since then quite a bit has changed. Thankfully!

Here is a more recent snap of my PC (at bottom) and spec's can be found below:

This is more of an upgrade project with a few items from my previous build (such as PSU and HDD's and fans for radiators) being recycled into this one.

This upgrade for me is very much about asthetics with my first build being a mess! So no corners will be cut and cable managment and looks are a must!

It's also over time as money persists so it should 'grow' nicely.

Yeah I suppose I just don't like blue and silver! If I'm honest I couldn't really think of a much better name, the color is more AMD based I guess

I've braided all the Xilence red wing fan cables, removed the 3 pin connectors as I don't want that mess showing and modded them to 5v for a nice slow spin. Will update with pics tomorrow.

maybe dremel some holes to put em behind the motherboard tray!

Red bull is a decent name though. You have black bulls with red eyes so it does fit

Pleeeeeeeeease sort the cables out.

You'll love yourself when you've done it. Really you will, and angels will come down from heavan and gasp at the beauty of the build, also the angels bit is a fib.

This is only as it is in its current state, new case and cable managment will becoming soon!

As I said in the thread this rig was thrown together and I regret not putting the time it to finish it properly, so it will get done properly!

A little update, all the Red Wing fans (and SATA cables) are now braided and modded to 5v for a nice slow spin. Might need to up to 7v will have to see when I get the new case together.

Was thinking about putting red connectors on but they won't be on show anyway so. Might do that for the connectors you can see though.

Can't decide on group braiding the powersupply wires or single braiding though as the current braid I feel is too 'thin'. Soon the fit angels should visit, once they see this in the new case anyway!
