Firstly - sorry if this is in the wrong place - feel free to move if it is.
This is a project in essence, however at this point not building a PC. More like building a home for the PC.
My new flat Im moving into in January has a nice second bedroom which will happily become a game room.
So the plan is ......
Purchase a reasonable size desk, thinking either glass or perspex and somehow install some uplighters into it - was thinking maybe blue or red with some clear lighting in the middle to light the actual desk.
Second, get a bracket so that when I purchase my new flat screen, I can mount it, then try and find a way to conceal it in order to give it a "floating" affect.
Third - get a decent set of speakers and arrange them in a fantastic surround sound style.
I have done a little diagram in MS Paint - the laptop can't handle photoshop - to roughly show what I plan the desk to look like.
