Getting things started with a clients Project Log...I'm calling it Heat as that's what it creates right now...lol!

This has been a long time coming for my client as he wanted to use the Devil's Canyon i7 as soon as it was announced. Here it is in it's current state:

Intel i7-4790K@4.9GHz!
Asus Maximus VI Extreme!
16GBs of Corsair Vengeance DDR3-2400!
Corsair Hydro H110 in Push with Corsair AF140's
2 X Samsung 840 EVO 250GB's(One for Windows 7, one for OS X Mavericks)
2 X 2TB Seagate Storage Drives!
Asus DC II GTX 780 Ti 3GB!(Has plans to go SLI later)
Corsair AX760 Power Supply!
In Win Grone in White with blue LED Fans up front.
(This case is a temporary solution as he will be moving to a better case shortly)

Plans for the build:
Corsair 900D/750D(Which do you think would be more Epic?)
A Full EK setup for the Water.
360mm EK PE Radiator for the top
240mm XTX Radiator for the front/bottom
Supremacy CPU Block
EK Full Cover GPU Block
Primochill Blood Red Tubing
All EK Compression Fittings(Thinking black or silver)
Corsair SP120's for the Rads and AF140's for case
NZXT Hue LED Lighting kit
Black, Red and White Cable Sleeving for the power supply!
Hopefully a much higher overclock on the CPU

I think a 900D would be too epic for one GPU, I dare say you might even lose it in a 750D but it's certainly got potential, potential to be uber clean. I saw a build earlier on fb with an ITX board in a 350D, don't know why but the empty space worked for me, I like seeing my rig half empty at the moment. I can't think of a case but something with one single huge 80mm 480 and two long straight thin pipes running right out to it would really do something for me, intensely modding a 900D for that kind of thing could be sweet.

You better add '-remove sticker from fan' to your to do list or i'm going to OCD rage over here, I don't even like the though of them being orientated in a different direction, all 13 of my fans have the cable exiting by the top/front left so the stickers are the right way up. Granted i'm not normal! But I like it, I can't wait to see where this is going, full EK sounds sweet. Is it going to be plexi, acetal, CSQ?

Going to use the CSQ as he likes the looks:)

Totally forgot to mention he plans to add a second 780 Ti. He wants to wait a month after he gets the water before adding the second card.
It will have a good bit of empty room left, even with the res/pump but I think I can use the space nicely.
Eitherway, it is going to be a killer build and I honest;y can't wait to get this DC chip under water.

My Friend took Project Heat to different level. We were going to do the big loop inside of the 750D but he wants to go big....ger! 900D it is...with good reason.

He arrived at my door step with a few boxes that needed tending to.

First thing I saw was the big Corsair 750D box!

The next thing I saw was the EK L360 Water Cooling Kit! He said he wanted better temps on his Ultra High Clocked 4790K!

PrimoChill Red Tubing to match the Red and Black Theme!
Cool Touch Fan Controller

Leak Testing

Semi-Final Pics

No Push/Pull possible with this Rad but still gets great temps at 5GHz!

Next update will have the second DC 2 GTX 780 Ti and the AX1200i involved...Stay tuned for more updates!

Probably the 900D as well as my friend is pretty set on getting this done quickly!

Let me know what you guys think.

Update ahead:

I guess some could call this minor, just added a GPU and bigger supply, but man is it huge. Well, not really...I only have a few not so clear pictures as my real camera went M.I.A. but.......

i7-4790K running 4.9GHz Stable@1.32 volts
Dual DC2 GTX 780 Ti's

This has been Ultra fun to work with but he wants to sell the CPU/MB and move to a 4930K.

When you see it again, it'll be an i7-4930K in the Rampage Extreme hoprefully running somewhere near 5GHz!:D

Update!!!

Client went a little bigger than expected.

i7-4960X Running@4.8GHz! Will be working on dropping the voltage now.
32GBs of Corsair Vengeance Pro running@2400
Rampage VI Extreme Motherboard

Check out the new scores below....

Haven't even started overclocking the GPU's yet.

OK, you guys, my customer once again changed plans on the build and is pretty much maxed out on what he can add to it.

Introducing the new Project Heat:

Intel i7-4960X running at 4.8GHz!
Asus Rampage IV Extreme X79 Motherboard!
32GBs of Corsair Vengeance Pro Memory 2400MHz!
3 X Samsung EVO 250GB SSD Drives!
3 X 2TB Western Digital Hard Drives for storage!
Dual Asus Direct CU II GTX 780 Ti's In SLI!
Corsair AX1200i Power Supply!
Corsair 750D Case!
EK L360 Water Cooling Kit with Red Primochill Tubing(3/4ID/5/8OD)
Dual boots Windows 7 Ultimate and OS X Mavericks 10.9.4!

This is where it sits now, he is finally happy with the amount of performance he has on tap. Now we begin planning his dual loop water cooling setup....can anyone say 900D!

I didn't take too many pictures of it as we are no where near finished but here it is in its current state!

Benchmark Results:

This is where it stands right now. Have to figure out a small issue with the GPU's though.

Booting into Windows without any GPU tweaking software installed/running, the GPU's are clocking them selves to 1361MHz when running the Valley/Heaven Benchmarks!
If we alter the core/memory speeds, even by 2MHz, it will auto restart as soon as the bench loads.

No blue screen, no driver crashes, just a straight restart....like hitting the restart switch.

If anyone has any ideas about what could cause this please write/respond!
