Title say it all guys, I can't run these two benchies with my new 7800GTX's in SLI.

Current scores are around 5000 for 03 and 05 - Just going through a complete re-install (no image disk, the full blinkin monty including full format).

Just wandered if anyone else has had to do the same?

7772 drivers yep.

Not disabled any of that, but I think the curretn version of riva is not that good for 7800's at the moment v15.6.

But riva is good for overclocking and fine tuning so I hope they bring out a better version in the very very near future.

Still running throught the good old re-install, will report back.

Keep the ideas coming though just in case we need to fall back on plan B.

Cheers

Rivatuner has a secret G70 support. To unlock it you can add the following line to [GPU_10DE] section of RivaTuner.cfg:

NV47 = 90h-9Fh

Source: Unwinder

Found HERE at xtremesystems

The latest version which I downloaded 2day supports 7800, but I am not 100% sure but somehting screwed up.

Cheers for the advice though - keep it coming.

Take no notice here - the problem is temp related, if the cards drop below 35 degrees the thermal throttle kicks in and it's like running a FX5200.

Fortunately I got one card where temps read high (which is suited if you are watercooling) I am gonna flash this to the cool card so that the low temp bug don't bite.

I would imagine if one reads 30 degrees and one reads 50 degrees, then the actual temp is 40 degrees - you simply cant trust the temp reading on these cards.

Until a suitable BIOS update comes out, this is probably the best solution.

More fookin around for Mav today then.

the bios disables the temp reading totally though it doesn't actually fix it.

I think this problem is more driver related
