Lasher dude, I've been getting the same as of exactly 18:21 this evening. In my instance my anti-virus was putting up a fuss to begin with. I've told it to shut the hell up and am going to attempt a reinstall to see what happens.
*EDIT*
After updating drivers and trying a reinstall of the client, the error still pops up for me, so I'm not sure what to do next. Off down the pub to sulk instead.

dude how does that explain the cudart problem.
F@H forums state there is a problem with Core 15 and a new version 2.12 or something will solve it.
GPU tracker just hangs my rig and i get the same errors.
need a solution to get this back online

couldnt tell u mate i use gpu3 client through gpu tracker
Got home from work today to find 3 machines messed up on geting the new core. Ironically all were 2 card machines and GPU 0 was the messed core download on all 3. So not exactly the same situation as Lasher's but similar, I believe this to be a poorly executed introduction of a new core 2.13 on Stanford's part.

The positive side of this is that the new core seems to offer a nice little PPD boost and looks to use less or at least no more CPU cycles

Left machine off tday as was still trying to resolve this at half eleven last night.
Deleting the core 15 does not work.
Get a new core then proceed to completely lock the rig up. Only way to get out of it is to restart in safe mode and delete the whole thing.
Now tried about 12 times to get this dammed thing working.
any advice gents?
GPU tracker does the same thing.

already done that matey, got those last night of the folding forums.
Just odd how it immediately locks the system up.
I got the smp client folding again so all is not lost.
will keep persevering though, not going to give up.
Ive posted on the forums my logfiles etc so hopefully they will resolve it - fingers crossed!
As you say i hope to god the 280's not frazzled!!
