Pricing Leaks for AMD's Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT

Is it even worth commenting on the price any more?

These days it doesn't matter how you react or what you say. Every one is in it for every single penny they can gouge out of every one else and no complaints will change anything.

Everything now is micro managed and scalped at every single part of the sale. From the people making the dies to the people assembling the cards to the people shipping them and then the retailers. Every one is adding as much on as they can.

I would hope that going into the future there would be laws on this but they were all abolished long ago. From energy price caps to MSRP. Everything now is fair game.

You never know though. With the soaring inflation and damage to the economy someone might wise up.

The smartests thing to do is to wait for ETH to go PoS.
I've said it like a thousand times. You will be able to buy ANY GPU at half REAL MSRP.

There is absolutely no point on buying GPUs with inflated prices and scalped prices. It's just dumb.
I don't care about this cards and their prices. I will just pass and wait for people to begin selling their cards at 50% discount to buy whatever card i want for brutal deals.

It's a little bit more for a little bit more. Issue i feel is with the new cards coming out at the end of the year imho it very much seems that either the current cards are going to drop in price or the new cards are going to be more expensive.

So I'm now much more feeling even if a 7700xt is performing like a 6900xt it's going to cost 6900xt prices, i don't see the current crop dropping now at all.

We all know Nvidia are not going to drop prices look at the cost of the 3090ti. As for Intel there was a post on PC gamer talking about a competition and the value of the prizes so either they added bonus bits which is part of the cost or the higher end card somewhat 3070ti performance is going to cost $700.

So yep prices it seems are here to stay and until we all keep are wallets shut they wont drop until they are stacking up on shelves going nowhere, doubt that will happen either.

I'll stick with what i have now for as long as possible, just need this darn bios it's driving me crazy, even started looking at new motherboards in case it simply just takes them far to long too release it.

Still at least from a tech side of thinking it'll be intresting with so much coming around sept/nov time frame, just feels like it'll be 2-3 generations before i'll upgrade again now most likely when PS6 nextbox comes around when it'll actually be needed.

I do feel however the DXR performance will improve a fair amount but atm with so few DXR games we really need UE5 games to start coming out to even make use of the hardware we have fully and i expect my system going beyond this year will be very midrange and somewhat the minimum entry.

I think as much as PC gaming has gotten better, the cost is now going to very much turn people more towards consoles over time, thou saying that i doubt it'll be a nintendo switch :D

So in my thinking a 7900xt or 4090ti you could very much be seeing above $2000 prices whichever the top card is and been thinking for some time that it wouldn't suprise me if they add more sku's above them like the titan but rather than call it that it'll just be some $3000 monster card that is named the 5000 or the 8000 card a series of it's own the market is such a mess and once they hit 3nm there isn't much further they can go the scale is so tiny it's almost like thinking of nothing the mind boggles :)
