If distributers are guilty of scalping maybe NVidia should cut off the AIB partners supply and just sell more Founders Edition cards, it is not like they would have a problem shifting them.

As to the 4xxx and 5xxx series high end cards they have been very poor. I think if GPU manufacturers were limited to selling cards with a 300w TDP maximum this would solve so many problems we are seeing now.

More cards available as their chips would be smaller
Easier to cool
Lower power consumption
Smaller size
No more melting power connectors
The limit in TDP would drive innovation, there are ways of getting much better than RTX 5090 performance with much lower power consumption.

NVidia are guilty of using brute force to get high performance, they should go back to applying some design innovation to do the job but that would cost them R & D money.

As long as Humans have GREED in their sick DNA that will never change, but be on the lookout for future changes as there are some on the Horizon, in less as two years is my prediction, then NVIDIA can say bye bye and consumers have more and better affordable choices. F@$@ NVIDIA and SCALPERS, may Karma do its job. Now back to my garage finishing the optical quantum design of the card that will beat all card for the next for see able future LOL Happy Sunday!

The distribution is high cause they are going through the back doors into china and russia that’s fact jack regardless of policies in place to try to prevent it, money greed etc all the normal things and nvidia too busy selling AI cards to care about the gaming market atm otherwise there would be supply there is no supply and amd can’t fully fill the gap and are aware of it but they are trying and sure some cards are above msrp but not terry tibbs double the price the 9070XT is an amazing card vs the 5090 and thats fact cost 3x less and isnt always as far behind as they would like to make out.

The real pro nvidia crowd are becoming easier to spot when they are extremely positive towards a generation from nvidia thats an absolute joke the simple fact a 4090 is a better card in many cases states it all in my view.
