looks interesting, quick Q tho, do all the new cards with hdmi handle the audio aswell? never realy thourt about it but as im using my tv as montior now and my speakers just blew up im having to use a 3.5-3.5 cable to get sound (extra cable to get tangled).

Yep, the entire HD 4xxx range can handle 7.1 sound

ok thats sorted it haha, ill run my medusa's through my on board 5.1 and then set up a 5.1/7.1 with my tv and then wait for the 4890x2's and get 1 or 2 of them (depending on money at the time and to reuse when i move to i7)

i would keep my 4850's but they only have 2 dvi ports on each =[
