Oh I forgot about the Seasonic 1200W platinum! It has a hyrbrid fan mode. The psu will be dead silent for some time before you start drawing more power
yea i know 1500w is so overkill but it get great reviews from ttl and other reveiw and for the 3 most important thing to me the noise and the rapill for the hardware and the customs cables
There's also the EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W P2 to think about, there's a 1200W version too. Built by Superflower extremely high quality stuff and quite a bit cheaper than the AX1500i. That's the only other PSU I would personally consider.

Overkill isn't always a bad thing. If you've got the money then there isn't much of a reason to not get it. Power supplies in general are pretty simple, find one that meets your requirements, then go with what you like most. If the money isn't an issue, just go for it.
