Please could I ask a favour of everyone who uses a split/multiple +12V rail PSU?
If anyone knows HOW their +12V rails are split (ie...which connections are on which rail) Please post here with details. There are only a few combinations, but each PSU/PSU company approaches it a different way.
Split/multiple rail PSUs have uses without a doubt, but knowing in advance if all the connections a user needs are on the same rail would be useful. E.G..an SLI user with a 4-disk RAID would not want a PSU where the PCI-E connections are on the same rail as the SATA-power plugs maybe.
Thankyou very much,
Kenny
