Power Problem

I asked in one of my other post on how to take a screenshot for errors and whatnot, i figured the screenshot thing out now i have an error. and i cant figure out how to put the screenshot in here, i dont understand the text to be formatted thingy when u click insert image. lil more help on that is needed

my power supply is a Rosewill 550w. 35amps on the +12 rail. i just started getting this error not to long ago and ive had this power supply since march of this yr.

To me it sounds like you have a cr@ppy PSU mate. Sorry to say it but although some manufactorers claim to have so many watts per rail mostly its lies.

Get a decent PSU like PCP&C, OCZ, Tagan, Enermax etc and I reckon you'd be sorted

Bit of a dumb question, but i take it you have checked the powe cable going into your graphics card to make sure it hasn't come loose?

I got that error message last night funnily enuf, but it was because my cable had come loose.

is there any bad info on this one?? and then either tagan or antec

and anohter ? what should my screen refesh rate be at?? its at 60mhz now

Hyper make good PSU's - however, if you want one without the 'bling', go for a Tagan.

And you should set ur refresh rate as high as your monitor will allow. Low refresh rates have been proven to give people headaches (and also the picture looks blurred IMO)

Yep, i've got a Tagan Easycon 580w modular and its very very nice.

They weigh a ton, have rock solid rails and could survive a nuclear bomb blast.

is there a website to order that tagan easyconn thats in the US not over seas, ive found some websites that sell them but there only the 480w not the easyconn and same w/the hiper?? it bothers me to order from over seas never done it be4 and ive heard not to to it

if you get a hiper or stuff made overseas it will not fit the us plug and you will have to use an adapter = bad
