Power loss to PC?

Right, My PC has just randomly shut its self off.. ?

Whole thing just goes Poof.. and powers down..

There is nothing in the event logs to show anything hardware related.. Could it be PSU?

Although I wouldn't know why..

hmm chances are in u`r bios the thingy that says something like :

On failure do what : [turn off | turn on | last state]

T`is usually in the section that defines what the power on/off button does : off | delay 4 seconds.

U got turn off probably. The problem could be anything from a faultly psu or u`r psu got an outage from u`r power source or spike or something.

Right, I found Something about AC power loss, that was set to Power off.

Do you think maybe.. I have a bad connection between me and the wall?

Can be caused from that sorta thing or the cable being jiggled tbh.

See how the kettle lead fits - or maybe even change it out.

Or stop moving u`r case about !!!

Haven't touch the case in yonks.

What I was doing at the time was folding and Music..

I was on the other side of the room.. then suddenly the room went silent..

Like a horror movie!

what psu u got?

my comp would just randomly turn off if i had coretemp open, and still does. so i dont open it anymore

and recently, after i tried oc'in, i cant get through 3dmark without locking up

I have a HyperPower TypeR 580Watt.

Nice bit of kit!

Anywhoo, yeah I think it is okay now. Must have been a spike in the system or something.
