Hey all, I have wanted to do a green build for a while now, but never really thought much about green and gaming, Or Eco gaming heh, Yes im sure we know might seem a bit pointless to some as a 1p in power usage difference could equal 30% extra performance, But im not aiming for that.
Eco Friendly first, Performance later, but it needs to reach the realistic target of playing Black Desert Online @ Max settings 1080p Titan X only just manages to keep this above 50 FPS Constant, in busy areas so im not expecting constant 60FPS, but still.
Just unsure of how ill piece this together, Price is no problem Im not saying ill do this all in a day, Im actually unsure of Eco friendly components that are upcoming or already exist, Like i dont know (and have not yet researched) if a SSD is lighter on power than a M.2 SSD, Little things like that to make the power usage as low as possible.
Just things im looking at off my head, 500W PSU Max, 550 depending on availability of platinum rated 500W, and the GTX 950 with no power connector asus released looks nice.
Just to note i do these things for fun a lot of the time to understand more about computer hardware and to not get lost in the mind of getting the most powerful things released and feeling everything below that is underpowered.
Thanks for reading this wall of text.
