I have a good few old PCs, but the only one really worth describing is my HP Netserver E800. It consists of:

Dual 900 Mhz PIII

Dual socket PGA370 ASUS Motherboard

1 GB RAM (4x256MB, likely DDR)

2x 10k RPM Seagate Barracuda 36GB SCSI HDDs

2x 10k RPM Seagate Barracuda 18GB SCSI HDDs

250w PSU

I have some other old systems, including a few IBM T20-series laptops, am old Celeron based Dell PowerEdge 500sc server, an Athlon XP based Compaq, a blue Power Mac G3, the list just goes on.

Haha I remember when my dad first got his voodoo card from some pc auction place. We also got Hocus Pocus :) I think I was about 7 :P

1 GB RAM (2x256MB, likely DDR)
Aye 2x256 dosent equal 1gig sir. Haha unless you mean doubled, for each side. (Each cpu has 2x256)

The Voodoo card i have in my machine was made in 1999. Thats perty old.

A keen eye you have. I did not realize my mistake. It does indeed have 4x256MB.

Still got one

Dell Precision WorkStation 410:

Dual slot 1 PIII 400mhz processors, 500MB PC100 SDRAM, S3 Savage 4 32MB Graphics, Windows98 SE on a 12GB IDE - this thing even has an onboard SCSI controller but...

Not worth wasting my "Preciouses" on though (Pair of 15k Seagate Cheetahs 18.5GB + 37.5GB) ;)

On occasions it still runs for the sake of an equally ancient dot matrix label printer!!

:D

Got any pics of it?

I will make some, but I will not be able to transfer them to my PC until I get a media card reader, as I lost my transfer cable. Not much of a loss, as media readers are much faster than my camera at transferring data.

Netserver E800

I have some pictures of the beast (see previous post). Enjoy!
