Possible sale of F40

I'm considering selling my beloved Project F40 to start a new project. What do you guys think it will fetch (and more importantly is anyone interested?). Here's a spec rundown:

- Silverstone TJ03 Aluminium case - Powder coated Red with genuine Ferrari stickers on side doors and dual 120mm radiator holes cut.

- Asus Commando P965 motherboard with Swiftech NB cooler and mosfets/SB sinked.

- Intel C2D E6700 Retail - good up to 3.8ghz on water.

- Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 2gb - good up to DDR2-1200

- BFG 8800GTS (factory OC) + EK waterblock

- Soundblaster Audigy 2

- Enermax Infiniti 720w PSU - Sleeved red with red molexes.

- Water cooling: 1/2" UV Red Tubing, D-Tek Fuzion block, D5 Pump, XSPC bay res, EK 8800 block, XSPC dual rad. Filled with FluidXP.

- Cooling: 3x 120mm red LED Silenx fans (2 on radiator), 2x 80mm red LED Silenx fans, 2x 120mm Delta 170cfm fans (on radiator). Controlled by Akasa rheobus.

All in showroom condition

Tbh, I am thinking your best bet would be parting it out for the following:

Most people can't appreciate a nice build such as that and give you the proper price for it

People who would pay the proper amount and do value it would probably rather build their own.

It's worth more than a grand... Trying to match that spec from a pre built machine you'd spend a fortune.

Hard to say mate - as vadeR has already stated, someone who realises the value and who is prepared to pay the premium would most likely build their own...

Offtopic, but I appreciate how you capitalized the R in "v a d e R`" now one day somebody will add the spaced and the "`" and I will be happy.

Lol - Well v a d e R` I always want to abreviate peoples 'tags'. I don't mind it doing if its a regular oc3d'er, e.g I always say Rast. v a d e R` takes a long time to type. I think we should reserve the fullness for special occasions

Surely the potential new owner would have to undergo a rigorous testing process to ensure suitability. We can't just let anybody take possession of that rig...it's a masterpiece

Wonder how many hits Ferrari gets on eBay ??

U could get a fortune for it, imo. Even if u chose to switch out a few things. Just make sure it`s got a pretty good Vista rating when u`ve finished - nOObles may go extra for that, just for that.
