hello there. i am new to this forum and would like an oppinion on the pc i am about to buy :

and that is about it . what do you think ? is the configuration good ?

what about the gpu ? is it good or should i choose an xfx 9600 gt 512 mb XXX version ? 10x a lot

Looks like a decent rig, but I actually think I would've gone for the new 4870 or even the 4870x2 for graphics, as it's cheap and awesome, and you'll have the opportunity to run Crossfire in the event of wanting to get some more juice in more demanding games later on. If you do so, I'd probably recommend a beefier PSU to do the job, as newer GFX-cards pull a huge amount of power.

I'm a nVidia-fanboy too, but QFT the ATi chipsets have shown some muscle with the latest releases, leaving nVidia in the dust.

hello again. i have decided to change the case i am about to buy and i chose the antec 300 ( three hundred ) http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=15300

can anyone tell me if everything fits properly ? has anyone seen the case ... is it a good choice ? (btw...i am limited on money...don't tell me to buy a 300$ case ) 10x

the antec 900 is a pretty good, well proven and quite spacious case. it's a pretty good buy for 100 dollars.

If a case is sold as a mid / high tower you should have no issues in fitting gear inside it. Google your case of choice and take a look.

Its a very easy way to get an idea of how your case will look
