What would be the purpose of the card?

Hardcore gaming? Or just casual?

I would say the 7600 is a good buy.. ;)

hardcore gaming,in 7600GT i read at nvidia site memory type is gddr2 what is this. my ram is ddr2 so my motherboard support it or not because there is no slot for gddr2 like memory or gddr3 or gddr2 memory are built in card is'nt it.

The best is an 8800 Ultra, second best 8800GTX, third best 8800GTS 640mb, just after that 2900XT

Best bang for buck is an 8800GTS imo

You have 2 x PCI-e x16 slots so a nice 8800 should fit in well :)

He only has $100 though. :D

7300 GT or 7600GT or 7900GT which one according to my money range, and from which like evga ,xfx.i read a review of compare betwaeen 7300GT and ati x1600pro,so those graphic card r not enough for hardcore gaming or just enough,8800 series is costly for me.

The X1650XT is a good card actually, the X1600 pro is a totally different card altogether

7600GT is ok, but I would expect the 7900GT is out of your budget

The brand dosent really matter, its all about the warrenties.. which ever gives the best warrenties and after support.. I would say XFX or EVGA, i would probably go for the XFX 7600GT 'XXX' great card for the money. Plus i think in the US they have a lifetime warrenty.. Just shop around see where you can get the best deal. :)

O and agreeing to one of the above posts. Make sure you have a 400W+ branded PSU.. Just to be safe.

And what is the rest of your systems spec?

Pat

intel pentium D 3Ghz 2x2

1536 ddr2 ram

intel d102ggc2 motherboard,1 pci-e 16x slot,ATI xpress 200 integrated has 2 pixel and vertex shader,so i can run new game but in low setting.

my psu must be 300W,is it not enough pat123,u said 400w+ just to be safe, that means in 300w psu something wrong will happen with 7600GT,tell me so i will upgrade my psu too.

For GFX Card: Get an XFX 7600 GT xXx Edition (Had one very nice card)

PSU: I reccomend a Corsair 520HX Modular

I double the 7600GT XXX Edition from XFX. They have whats called a double lifetime warranty and if your 300watt PSU isnt enough you can get your card replaced if anything happens to it. If you really do have a 300watt PSU i suggest getting a bigger PSU. You need to have around 26amps on the 12v rail to run a 7600GT properly.
