Please Help! Custom PC On a budget

Hey Guys!

I need help... im thinking of building a custom PC, but i have no idea where to begin.. i only have a rough idea on what i want but i don't know what to go for. hopefully someone here could help me!

im a video editor and graphics designer, mainly photoshop. i need a good rig that can take my workload!

i need:

an intel processor

6+ GB RAM

320+gb hdd

but the thing is i dont know what to get! plus i only have about 550 euro (500 pounds) to play with.

can anyone help me?

Your not going to get much for that, a mid-high gaming pc at a stretch but not a video editing pc

how soon do you need a pc because if you can save for a bit longer then with a big budget the more suited build can be accomplished

cheap mb

sth like a 2500k as ivy isn't good enough imo

some gskill cheap ram 8gb kit

some cheap psu like be quiet pure power

spinpoint f3 is cheapest where i live atm

to bad u want intel, 8120 is real cheap atm

3820 has no iGPU, so he wouldn't be able to use the system at all until he had a discrete GPU

You won't be able to get a decent all round intel build for that price imo. Here's what I suggest:

Overclock the 8120 to 8150 speeds and you are away. 16gb of ram, an ssd to make you programs work faster, 500gb of HDD space and even a descrete gpu to help with the rendering too and for eyefinity if you work with multiple screens.

It's not intel but it's pretty good.

Yeah true, very true. Actually that's a good suggestion, both your build and M&P's build is the best the OP is gonna do at his budget
