Is there anyway to get this NewThread thing to not remove threads u`ve read b4 from the listing ?

I click the NewThread, read something "Kemps monitor thread", then see some1 looking to buy a monitor, go to see Kemp`s thread and it`s gone. Click on TodaysPosts and I`m stuck with w8ing 10s almost everytime.

I`m begging of u, in the name of all that`s sane and rational !

Lol it seems like a loose loose situation tbh. The old method was good in that it showed all threads that you'd already read, but if you accidentally closed the browser window before reading all the threads, the next time you visited you would have a completely clean slate.

The reason I switched to this method was so that there was less chance of people's threads going unanswered as it keeps a record in the database for a month.

If there's enough call to switch it back I will tho. Lets say 6 requests.

I'm not fussed, I just go and find the thread manually if it's gone. The only thing that's annoying is that it drags up older threads that I haven't answered and treats them as if I haven't viewed them.

Yeah I think it classes "reading a thread" as viewing the last page.

I don't really mind.. have noticed the change but hasn't bothered me.

The only change that has bothered me is the "Who's online menu" as now when I check it out I cannot see what thread people are viewing.

I like to follow the lead if you get what I mean. One may come across some old but interesting threads that way too. :)
