Sony's PlayStation Plus online subscription is getting a price hike to $59.99, a 20% increase in price.

Bit of a joke considering all the crap users have had to put up with thus far.

Kind of glad I don't have a Playstation, although I wouldn't be suprised if Microsoft do the same.

I know on the xbox you can around 4 games or more for free per month thanks to the backwards compatability but most of the times the games are not that good.

I don't know what type of games Sony offer each month but they won't be decent ones I reckon.

I wonder what reason they are going to use for this increase.

The games offered on PS4 each month have been rather disappointing tbh, mostly just indie titles. There have been some better older titles offered but they've been restricted to PS3 downloads only.

Makes me prettymad tbh. I guess I'll just buy another 12 month subscription before it increases.

I don't even think it's worth 50. Maybe 20. There security history is terrible, so if they increase price. They damn well better be putting all that money into security infrastructure.

You can build a computer for that money needed to buy a PS4 and have 60$ spare to buy a controller or overwatch
