Yeah it's a pity when a manufacturer decides to 'call it a day' on such a faithful family favourite. I loved my playstation until I got my Xbox But unfortunately it's the way things go, as technology advances consumers adopt, and the dare I say it 'obsolete' gets left behind. Farewell to a family fave :wavey:

I've still got my PS1 (I used to have an original PSX but it broke), but I own a PS2 as well, so I see little reason to bother with my PS1.

Yea, especially when you'd never played anything like it before.

The music, the ambience sounds, the zombie noises, the lack of bullets...just left you forever on the edge of your seat.

I just kept the volume low when playing those type of games

Was probably only about 7 when those were around.
