Planed el cheapo rigo

Right I'm planing a build around the Prodigy,one of their new Cheetah's, but I would like to buy every part needed for around £50 a pop. I already have a psu, gpu, hd , cooler and 8gb ram. So really All I need is motherboard, cpu and all the pretties. Can this be done ? I also have a cooler, but plan on putting at least the cpu under water, I am changing my X20 I'm currently using first because of the noise issue, I think it is under too much stress with using 2 blocks and 2 rads. But should be ok just for a single block.

I realise that I will have to look at a bit older gen stuff, but that is where I come un stuck. With me being a relative noob to build your own, I have no clue on the older gen stuff at all. Couls Intel be an option ? Or would it have to be AMD ?

So if you could point me in the right direction toward my needs. I should add it is going to be a rig mainly for my bedroom, I don't watch tv at all. I stream everything I watch, plus the rig will act as a back up, when my main ig is being tinkered with. Cheers guys.

Well if you really want to go old gen, socket 775 CPUs were quite awesome in their day from what I've heard (although I missed that too due to being in the military, working and college, but I've been reading up) and the AMD Phenom six cores seem to not exactly have sucked either.

Are you sure you don't want to go for a current gen budget rig though? Sure it's not really reasonable to cool an i3 or even a pentium with water, but that doesn't mean you can't, especially if you already have the parts. And it would use a lot less power for probably similar if not better performance.

Prodigy? So you need an ITX motherboard, I don't think you can get one for £50 tbh

I can push to an extra £20 here and there. The mother board I'm looking at is the ASRock FM2A75M-ITX AMD A75 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard it's £71.

I't doesn't have to be old gen really, it's just for the money I want to spend, I imagine that it is my only option ?

With the mother board I have mentioned what would be the best option ?
