picture editing software

thanks for the tip Kempez, gimp downloaded and installed and looked like it could do what i want to :)

Nathan, its one of my favorite pets, paid almost 15£ for it and it was well worth the money.

its a giant african filtershrimp, Atya Gabonesis is the latin name and it filters the water for food particles and floating algaes.

its a male but he's quite small, around 7cm long but can grow to be +15cm

why should i clean the tank for ?

the tank has been up and running for almost 1.5years and doesnt show any signs of needing to be cleaned.

he does a good job at keeping the water free of small particles and the other shrimps i have make sure i have no problem with snails and take care of any dead fishes quite fast.

Love the shrimp Raven, he's certainly a staunch looking young fella. Further, Kemp's suggestion of the gimp is right on the money. Almost all the functionality of PS, but nix the price :yumyum: :yumyum:

If your gonna be uploading alot of pictures to the web, its a very usefull shell extension. The Gimp alwase gets rave reviews but if you can get you fingers on Photoshop CS2, it is better IMO.
Gimp = $0.00, Adobe PS CS2 = AUS$400 (for the less equipped education version). Gimps a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. ;)

will not upload any pictures, of the 594 i took perhaps i doubht even 40 is worth saving and its more for personal use.
