Well many of you older members may remember my little Samsung 3G mobile that I had...unfortunately a couple of days ago it met its match by trying to take on a truck. I was crossing an extremely busy main rd with my 4 year old son and didn't notice that my phone had fallen off my belt and onto the road until I had gotten to the other side. The rest I'll leave to your imagination...
Subsequently, I needed a new mobile phone, and after researching online I decided to run with the Samsung SGH-i607 smart phone (commonly known as the Blackjack). Well it arrived today via courier. Anyway, this is one slick little phone running on Telstra's (Australia's largest carrier) 'Next G' (HSDPA, 3.5G) network, and it absolutely flies. Some pics have been included below, and please excuse the screenshots as I still have the plastic screen protector on there.
Smaller Samsung isn't in too bad a condition considering that 18 wheels went over the top of it.
Shattered screen on old Samsung
Side-by-side the Blackjack is currently running on the extended battery, and it adds a little extra depth to the phone (approx. 5mm)

The forum looks a treat :yumyum:
