Philips reveals their 49-inch 3820x1080 Ultra-wide 492P8 display

I'd rather get the Samsung 32:9 monitor. Even though this is a professional monitor, I bet that the Samsung would still look nicer

I'd go Samsung for gaming but for work this would be amazing. We typically use dual 25" displays so this would mean less cables and less mucking around. The hardest thing is that we generally don't have dual monitor stands so fitting them on your desk and lining them up properly is a right PITA.

they seriously didn't care to add 21600 more pixels to have FULL dual monitors crammed into one?

On a side note: I was just astonished by the number of pixels difference between 3840x1080 and 3820x1080

//EDIT: I don't like those monitors at all... Usability seems quite awkward compared to a dual 1080p setup, because I wouldn't like to have to be gaming in windowed mode... Also, docking windows to the side of the monitor became a little weirder, because you don't have bezels in the middle anymore
