We were so impressed with the Evolv we thought we'd take a look at another Phanteks case. This time it's the turn of the Enthoo Pro M.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Case Review

Allow me to say that this case is better than the "Define S" better airflow due to the open mesh at the front, still let's people use an optical disk drive or a fan controller as well

IMO but it's almost to the point where ODD slots should just die

You might be right, however I bought one internal ODD for my new rig anyway, you'll never know when those things might come in handy and comparing the 15Euro price tag for a internal one against the 40Euro one of an external one, I don't think that aesthetics will get massively crippled on specific chassis like the enthoos, which are what I would call "workstation grade" apart from watercooling friendly.

I have watched a review of this case, After watching the review i just found myself saying this case is to flimsy (Side covers) so that's why it's kinda off my list now for New Cases.

But i do understand that to get it into this price range they did have to cut some corners tho.

This is a more 'budget' case from Phanteks. The one that was suggested to you (atleast if I recall correctly) was the non M version, which is less budget.

Yeah i know the other one was suggested to me was a $250.00 case and the same guy said i should have a look at this one.

This one looks really good for the price. I'm sure it would be pretty solid once the panels are attached if you're concerned about that. How often do you move it around though? Will you go custom loop down the track? This and the Define S look great for water cooling.

I had a look at a Define S & an R5 yesterday in the flesh (nothing like getting your hands on one for perspective) and was really impressed. Being slightly isolated means I am yet to see an H440 or any Phanteks. S340 could be a go too I forgot about that until I read Gary's review of this one.

I think either way you go you'd end up with a good looking and performing case that fits your spec. If budget is more important to you than looks (you mentioned the optical cutout) get this.

If the H440 floats your boat then go for it - you really can't go wrong :)

Yeah i understand my problem is that i'm very fussy when it comes to Computer parts i'm not really looking at budget cases i'm looking more for Mid range, I call Mid range cases $120.00 to $200.00.
